Christmastime is Coming – Get Ready

I am a true lover of the Christmas season. Call me on the phone and I’ll talk Christmas until Christmas comes back around.

The holiday season brings me fulfillment. It is a feeling that warms my spirit in ways that nothing else does.

Christmas is an amazing time of year. Would you believe that I start shopping for Christmas in January and February. By the end of February I have all my shopping finished.

This year, however, I am late. I just started shopping for Christmas yesterday and found some great buys for one of my sons. I’m always on the lookout for sales and usually find great gifts for my family.

I love everything about this season. For me it is warm, welcoming and inviting.

My Home is Christmas Love and Joy

By the time October comes ushering I am ready to decorate my home for the most wonderful time of the year.

Starting in my living room, I decorate my picture window with lovely white and sometimes multi-colored lights depending on my Christmas theme. A theme is important to me because I believe color plays an important role throughout the holiday season.

This year it’s all white lights with champagne, gold and purple tying it altogether for my home. I can see it in my mind’s eye right now. I am getting excited just thinking about it.
