Lichen Sclerosis Needs To Leave My Body

In Search of A Treatment That Works for My Lichen Sclerosis

Lichen sclerosis. My oh my I would never think in a gazillion that I would experience something like this. Even the name gives me chills. I wonder if I’ll ever be healed from this imbalance that has me in a fit especially in the evening.

Would you mind if I share my Lichen Sclerosis story with you. There is so much to tell about this autoimmune condition and I have to tell it all.

Last year out of nowhere I got this awful itch in my private area. I began scratching like a crazy person. I had no idea what is was but it was horrendous. It lasted about a month and then quickly went away. I was elated. Not thinking anything of it I went about my days working around my house and promoting business blogs.

All of a sudden here comes that itch again. I was scratching for days. The more I scratched the worse it became. This time it was not letting up. I called the doctor who confirmed that I had LS. She gave me Clobetasol which worked at first.

I decided to do my own research to see what could heal this condition naturally. Not one single ointment nor butter cream worked. In fact, it made the itch 100 times worse. I even tried different soaps and gels which did nothing but made me itch more.

How I Care for My Girly Pearls While Looking for A Remedy for Lichen Sclerosis

I tried white dial which is the only things that helps. Seeing the white stuff on my washcloth told me that this thing started in my body. So then I researched which vitamins and supplements could help to ease the itch and possibly go away altogether.

I bought vitamin e and c to help calm the itching. They made it a little better but not much unfortunately. I think decided to go cold turkey and let dairy go.

Yes, I removed all forms of dairy from my diet. Although I’m still itching it’s not as bad as it was when this thing first fell upon me. I cut out sugar as well so I’ll see how I feel over the next few days. Right now though the itch is a bit better and I am able to do more without stopping whatever I am doing to scratch my vagina.

If you’re dealing with LS my suggestion is to do what’s best and what works for you because everyone’s blood is different. I believe it’s something in my blood and an hormonal imbalance that’s causing the severe itch in my vaginal area and around my clitoris.

This condition has caused me stress, but I am learning to cope with it. At night is gets worse.

I’ll come back with new updates about how I am dealing with LS. It is my hope that I will discover a treatment that works for me because Lichen Sclerosis needs to leave my body.

Sincerely,

Cyndi
